I've found an E/whatever works best for me. I just love the PBAoE nukes. I want to be swarmed -- it's when I'm most effective. |

The best character I've found for soloing is an Elmo(E/mo) using PBAoE. Use monk skills to keep yourself alive easily, while blasting everything to bits with Flame Burst, Inferno, etc. Throw in some Earth Magic for Armor of Earth and possibly Crystal wave. I've found using Ether Renewal with a couple enchantments(Armor of Earth, Healing Breeze, maybe Aura of Restoration if you want to give up the slot for the extra energy via ether renewal) is an excellent way of keeping your energy high to keep laying out your spells

I posted a sweet AoE Elementalist that would probably do nicely in PvE, but then again, everything does nicely in PvE.
